Be going to. Presente simple y continuo 27 de febrero Adverbios y pronombres interrogativos. 6 de marzo Verbos modales. 13 de marzo Verbos modales. Formas de expresar pasado. 20 de marzo Formas de expresar pasado. Pasado simple y pasado continuo.

Teenagers often celebrate with their friends at a pizza or hamburger restaurant with a birthday cake for dessert. Before everyone eats the birthday cake, they sing the Happy Birthday song. Does that sound familiar? Well, things weren t always this way. The first birthday celebrations were about 5,000 years ago. Before then, there weren t any birthdays because there wasn t a 365-day calendar. When there finally were birthday events, they weren t happy ones. According to people at that time, there was bad luck in your home on your birthday. To send the bad luck out of the home, it was important for the house to be full of family, friends, music and noise. Birthday cakes were perhaps an Ancient Greek invention. It was a tradition to make a round cake on your birthday and take it to a temple for good luck. Birthdays of ancient kings and emperors were huge celebrations with food, music, dancing and many people. But the birthdays of ordinary people weren t very important. In fact, there probably weren t any children s birthday celebrations until the 1700s. There were birthday cakes at children s parties from the start, but the famous birthday song was popular only from the 1900s. So, when s your birthday? Have a happy one! 1. What type of fast food do young teenagers often eat at birthday celebrations today? Were there birthday celebrations 6,000 years ago?. 3. Why weren t the first birthday events happy?.. 4. Why did the Ancient Greeks take cakes to the temple?.. 5. What was an emperor s birthday celebration like?.. (0 5 puntos)
