2 First Time User Check the box for "I agree to the above terms of usage" Then click on "Sign Up" at the bottom of the page Terms and Conditions of Use The Dallas Independent School District (Dallas ISD) provides electronic access to attendance, demographic, grade, and other information related to its students via its Parent Portal system. This information is intended for the use of the student's parent(s) or legal guardian(s). I understand that the Dallas ISD reserves the right to grant or deny access to the Parent Portal system in accordance with the U.S. Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and any court order. I also certify that I will advise my student s school of any issues resulting in a need for change of access to student records. The contact information, as well as any court orders, on file for the student determines who has access to the student's records and must be current and accurate to ensure the student's privacy. The user name and password used to access student information via the Parent Portal system should not be shared with unauthorized individuals. Dallas ISD will not be responsible for unauthorized access to or use of such information. By accessing the Parent Portal, I verify that I am the parent or legal guardian of the child(ren) on the application and I have legal authority to obtain their educational information. I understand that submitting false information or failing to follow rules of use will result in the withdrawal of use privileges. While Dallas ISD strives to ensure information on its Parent Portal is accurate and up to date, the system does not contain official information. Official information is maintained in the student's cumulative record and/or the Student Records Services Department files. It can be found on your student's report card. It will be a number, next to a field labeled "Student No." Campus: The drop down will show you by the numeric school code and then the school name. This information will be given to you when you register at your student's campus. Pin Code: The number that was given to you at the school upon parent verification. Campus Drop down > 3

In this case: Teacher 1 will link to the address of this teacher Note will give you the ability to send this teacher a note, maintaining the string of communications Cycle 1 the grade from the first 6 weeks There is a Cycle for each 6 week period, also showin the Exam and the Semester grade When a grade is clicked, the screen will show both all grades, as well as further detail about each subject. 6

7 Parent Portal Features 4 Attendance A blank attendance page indicates no recorded absences Attendance reports are delayed by 24 hours. 8 Parent Portal Features 5 Triggers You can setup notifications, called a "trigger" when your student's grade goes below or rises above a certain grade. You can receive this information by or text message. 6 Manage Students From this screen, additional students can be added to the same parent account. A parent must go to the 2nd student's school to receive the PIN verification code. Upon receiving the PIN verification code, the parent will come to this screen to add a student. 8
