A delicious lunch is served at 12 p.m., Monday through Friday. For older adults 60 years and older, the suggested donation for a meal is $3.00. No individual will be turned away due to inability to donate. Guests under 60 can enjoy a meal for a $5.00 charge. This program is free to registered and qualifying participants of the center. The center offers a wide variety of activities, including: educational classes, games, social events, referral services, informational seminars, health screenings, and monthly excursions. Our purpose is to enhance the quality of life for older adults and encourage maximum independence to prevent unnecessary premature institutionalization by providing comprehensive support services and encouraging involvement in the community. As people age and retire, they undergo important lifestyle changes. By keeping in touch with the community, bonding with peers, receiving recognition, and engaging in meaningful activities in a place where age is honored, seniors are able to maintain their dignity and enjoy a balanced lifestyle.
