We re looking forward very much to working with the new bishop. Important Notice This week the priests will be at a Convocation with Bishop Flores so we will not have our normal confession schedule. The Masses will be replaced with Communion services at the same time. This will affect our schedule from Monday at noon until Thursday late evening. Priests will not be available in the office until Friday the 27th. Please pray for the priests of the diocese as we gather for prayer and fellowship with the new bishop. March for Immigration reform: Joing marches in cities throughout the United States, a group of parishioners will leave Guadalupe at about 9 AM on buses for downtown, participate in the march and return to the Kermes. At 3:00 PM there will be a service of prayer and music in honor of Our Lady and then a small procession to bless the booths and volunteers of the Kermes. From 5 Pm to 7:30 Pm, all are invited to a tardeada, an afternoon event where for 10 dollars single or 15 dollars a couple, we reserve a place for you at our tables, give you your choice of food and non-alcoholic drink, provide music and dancing at the Kermes. Tickets are on sale in the office. Special Mass for Our Lady of the Rosary October 7th at 7:30 PM in Spanish MARRIAGE MOMENTS Does your spouse accuse you of being irresponsible? Bring your donations for the Rummage Sale during office hours. The BINGO needs donations of NEW prizes. Drop off your donations at the parish office. Anything new will be acceptable. Entertainment : If you belong to a band or a dance group or are a singer and would like to donate a performance, please contact Bertha Olivas at the parish office. Un Día con muchas cosas 5 de octubre Marcha para Reforma Migratoria: Sábado 5 de octubre un autobús saldrá de la parroquia a eso de las 9 de la mañana y regresará por la tarde. Júntense con miles de personas en las ciudades de este país ese mismo día llamando al Congreso que pase una ley justa de reforma migratoria. Dos eventos nuevos de la Kermes: el sábado 5 de octubre a las 3:00 PM habrá un servicio de oración y música a la Virgen en el templo con un pequeño desfile para bendecir los puestos y voluntarios de la Kermes. En la tarde de sábado habrá una tardeada desde las 5 PM hasta las 7:30 PM con música para bailar y una cena con mesas adornadas. El boleto para la tardeada cuesta 10 dólares individual o 15 dólares por una pareja. Con el boleto, hay plato de lo que escoge uno y bebida no alcóholica. Parejas! Parejas! Parejas! Si no están casados por la iglesia, hay una reunión muy especial para ustedes. El 19 de octubre a las 10 AM en el templo estamos reuniendo a parejas no casadas por la iglesia para empezar trámites de matrimonio sacramental.
