Document A El trueque del siglo XXI A. En la película Cadena de favores, Kevin Spacey interpreta a un profesor solitario que un buen día plantea a sus alumnos una tarea compleja: tener una idea que cambie la vida a la gente. Uno de ellos encuentra la solución: hacer un favor desinteresado a tres personas. A cambio, cada una tiene que hacer lo mismo con otros tres desconocidos. Así hasta crear una red 5 infinita de favores. La película no tuvo mucho éxito, pero a algunos, como Jesús Hurtado, emprendedor de Internet, le cambió tanto la vida, que le dio la idea para crear su primera empresa, Kroonos.com. B. Siempre me obsesionó crear algo en Internet que fuera realmente útil a la gente. Vi la película y empecé a investigar cómo llevar la idea a la red, explica. En noviembre del 2008, año y 10 medio después, Kroonos.com se estrenó en versión beta cerrada. C. Kroonos se convirtió en la primera empresa española en aplicar el concepto tradicional de banco de tiempo a la red social. A partir de este momento se crearon más de 50 bancos de tiempo. Son organismos locales promovidos por ayuntamientos y asociaciones sin ánimo de lucro para fomentar la cohesión social. 15 D. Los intercambios más habituales son los anuncios para pedir y ofrecer clases de inglés y las ayudas informáticas, pero variedad no falta, desde gente que ofrece unas horas para pasear el perro de otros, hasta los que piden ayuda para pintar la casa o escribir un guión. Actualmente, España se enfrenta a la peor crisis de su historia reciente, con un desempleo récord que alcanza al 24% de la población activa; 5,6 millones de personas. Dadas estas circunstancias están resurgiendo formas alternativas de interacción social al margen de las relaciones que promueve el capitalismo. 5 B. La crisis y el aumento de la exclusión social ha empujado a miles de personas a participar en redes de trueque y apoyo mutuo. C. Télam Ansel, profesor, asesor y consultor culinario, explica que hace tres años, a pesar de que él no tenía problemas económicos, comenzó a ver que había gente que estaba pasándolo mal. Cuenta Ansel que se están afrontando circunstancias muy duras, trágicas. Entonces 10 pensó que él podía ayudar a una o dos personas, pero que el problema era más grande, y se tenía que hacer algo más a nivel colectivo. Así, decidió abrir una página web y darla a conocer. Empezó por el entorno más cercano y, después de boca en boca, hasta contar actualmente con usuarios. D. Las páginas web con este tipo de objetivo son un punto de encuentro donde miles de familias, 15 a través de una cadena de favores, pueden ayudar y ser ayudados. Así fue el inicio de la página creada por el señor Ansel, pero ahora, esta red incluye todo tipo de asesoramiento, personal, apoyo psicológico, trucos para ahorrar, recetas para cocinar sano y barato, entre otras cosas ya que se basa en gente que pone su experiencia y sus capacidades al servicio de otras personas. E. También se ha creado una sección que responde a una de las necesidades más importantes en 20 estos momentos como es la vivienda. La iniciativa ayuda en casa por habitación permite a muchas personas que no tienen trabajo ni hogar tener un lugar donde dormir, a cambio de ayudar a la persona que le da alojamiento. F. Últimamente muchos emigrantes utilizan este servicio. Muchas de estas personas ya no reciben ayudas de desempleo, se encuentran bloqueados y no saben que hacer. Tampoco 25 tienen a quién pedir ayuda porque sus familiares no están en el país señala Ansel. TURN OVER

Un estudio de la empresa de Ansel Acaba con la crisis sobre las necesidades de los ciudadanos, a nivel territorial, refleja que hay grandes diferencias entre las diferentes comunidades autónomas. El uso de los bancos de tiempo y ayuda en casa por habitación es mayor en el sur de España, en Andalucía, Extremadura y Canarias que en el norte del país. 30 H. Finalmente, el señor Ansel concluye que lo que parece claro es que la crisis también está dando la oportunidad de construir relaciones sociales y una sociedad más solidaria. Fue mucha gente a ver la película «Cadena de favores»? c. Qué son los banco de tiempo? d. De quiénes reciben ayuda estos bancos de tiempo? e. Son muy caros los servicios que se ofrecen? Task 3 De acuerdo con el documento B: Por la crisis, crecen redes de trueque y solidaridad en España señala si las frases que aparecen más abajo son VERDADERAS (V) o FALSAS (F). Para obtener todos los puntos de esta pregunta, en las frases verdaderas debes indicar el número de línea del texto en que se basa tu elección; en las frases falsas tienes que copiar la información correcta del texto.
