I played football with my brother yesterday. Jugué al futbol con mi hermano ayer. I saw Luis in the supermarket. She didn t whatch the tennis match in my house. Did you say Marcos to come to dinner tonight? Real Madrid won the league yesterday. El Real Madrid ganó ayer la liga. Sonia didn t go to school last week.
2 When I was a child I always did my homework. Carlos came to Greece eight years ago. Carlos llegó a Grecia hace 8 años. EL PASADO CONTINUO Formación: El pasado continuo se forma con el pasado simple del verbo to be (was/were), seguido del verbo principal, terminado en -ING. She was studying for the exam whwn you called. Estaba estudiando para el examen, cuando llamaste. They weren`t working when I arrived. No estaban trabajando cuando yo llegué. Werw you sleeping while I was painting? Estabas durmiendo mientras yo estaba pintando? I was playing when Dad arrived. Para ellos vamos a utilizar WHEN y WHILE.
Mery was sleeping on the sofa when someone knocked at the door. Henry was preparing dinner while Jill was putting the table. EJERCICIOS: 1. Correct the mistakes in the following sentences: a. I was going to bed early on saturday evening. b. I was working when the manager was coming in. c. What you were doing when I rang? d. While we was working my brother was having a good time. e.
