9 A le gusta Me gusta Remember, I like in Spanish is Me gusta, but you can add more emphasis to the fact you are talking about yourself by adding A mí at the beginning. Por ejemplo: I like to swim = Me gusta nadar. ---or--- A mí me gusta nadar. Le gusta When talking about what someone else likes to do, we use Le gusta. To add emphasis about exactly who you are talking about, add A él, A ella or A and the person s name at the beginning. Por ejemplo: He likes to swim = She likes to swim = Pedro likes to swim = Le gusta nadar. ---or--- A él le gusta nadar. Le gusta nadar. ---or--- A ella le gusta nadar. Le gusta nadar. ---or--- A Pedro le gusta nadar. See how the second example is more specific about who likes to swim? Now you try, using the formula A le gusta Ariana likes to play the guitar.
