4 GENERAL INFORMATION/INFORMACION GENERAL We would like to extend an invitation for you to participate in Norwalk-La Mirada Unified School District s Parent Education workshops for the school year. These Parent Education workshops will be offered on a variety of topics that have been developed specifically for parents. They will provide resources, strategies and suggestions to help promote the education of your children and enhance parenting skills. Your participation as a partner in your child s education is valuable and together we can enhance children s learning for success. The following pages list the workshops designed for you. At each workshop, free childcare will be provided. Workshops are presented in English and Spanish languages. Please mark the dates on your calendar and plan on attending.
