PRESENCIAL - OBLIGATORIA La administración del tráfico, una de las labores más simples y descuidadas, hoy en día es considerada una función corporativa crítica y compleja. Las alternativas en transporte de carga y tecnologías están proliferando, las regulaciones gubernamentales están cambiando, y los costos están creciendo de manera acelerada como parte de la totalidad de costos logísticos. Al mismo tiempo, la mano de obra relativa al transporte está disminuyendo (se reducen las dimensiones de las empresas de transporte de carga). El curso de transporte abarca los temas críticos en transporte local incluyendo una revisión en términos y notación; claves financieras e indicadores de desempeño para transporte; diseño de redes logísticas; ruteo y programación; planeación de embarque y contenedorización (contenedores); modo, transportista, y selección de transportista externo (3PL); sistemas de gerencia de transporte; y diseño de organización de transporte. Analizar e integrar los principales medios y modos de transporte en su relación con la logística en el contexto nacional e internacional.
