2 1) DESTINATARIOS TARGET GROUP El curso está dirigido a estudiantes de español -de todos los niveles y de cualquier nacionalidad- interesados en consolidar y ampliar su conocimiento sobre los verbos ser y estar en español. This course is aimed at students of the Spanish language whatever the level or nationality who are interested in further developing and enhancing their knowledge of the Spanish verbs of Ser and Estar. Cada estudiante puede decidir libremente el nivel final que desea alcanzar. El curso puede realizarse bien de forma transversal con otros cursos de español que aborden otras cuestiones relacionadas con el idioma (estudiantes de nivel inicial), o bien completando todos los niveles, desde A1 hasta C2 (estudiantes de nivel intermedio o superior). You can choose which level you would like to work up to. The course can be done in conjunction with the other Spanish courses which raise questions related to the language (especially for beginners) or you can do all the levels, from A1 to C2 (for intermediate or advanced students). De este modo, los estudiantes con un nivel inicial, pueden detenerse en los primeros módulos y realizar los superiores más adelante, mientras que los estudiantes de nivel intermedio o superior, pueden completar la totalidad de módulos. Beginner students can focus on the first couple of sections now and do the advanced ones in the future, while the intermediate or advanced students can do all the sections. El curso puede ser aprovechado por aquellos estudiantes de español que estén preparándose para el examen DELE (Diploma de Español como Lengua Extranjera) en cualquiera de sus niveles. Los usuarios pueden consolidar y adquirir los nuevos contenidos exigidos por el nivel correspondiente. This course will also be of much use to students studying for the exam DELE 2

3 (Diplomas of Spanish as a Foreign Language), whatever the level. The students can learn the new materials required of their level. 2) OBJETIVOS OBJECTIVES ü Conocer las formas y usos principales de los verbos ser y estar de la lengua española. ü To understand the forms and the main uses of the Spanish verbs ser and estar. ü Profundizar, ampliar y consolidar conocimientos sobre los casos en los que ambos se oponen, así como sobre contextos y casos específicos de uso. ü Further develop and consolidate your knowledge of the cases in which a word changes meaning depending on whether they are used with ser or estar, as well as the contexts and the specific uses of the verbs. ü Enfrentar las complicaciones más frecuentes que plantea el uso de los verbos ser y estar. ü Get to grips with the most common difficulties that crop up concerning the use of ser and estar ü Aclarar las dudas más frecuentes sobre la elección y el uso de ambos verbos. ü Clear up the most common doubts about the use and selection of the two verbs. ü Comprender y reflexionar sobre el uso de ser y estar en diferentes tiempos verbales, teniendo siempre en cuenta un contexto real de uso de la lengua. ü Understand the use of ser and estar in the different tenses, always keeping mind the context. 3

4 ü Adquirir las herramientas lingüísticas necesarias para comunicarse con propiedad y adecuación en lo que al uso de ser y estar se refiere. ü Pick up the linguistic skills necessary to communicate by using ser and estar properly. 3) CONTENIDOS Y ACTIVIDADES CONTENTS AND ACTIVITIES ü Información relativa a la formación y usos de los verbos SER y ESTAR. ü Information about the conjugation and the uses of the verbs SER and ESTAR. ü Información relativa a diferentes aspectos lingüísticos relacionados con el funcionamiento ambos verbos como estructuras particulares, preposiciones obligatorias o expresiones idiomáticas. ü Information about the different linguistic aspects related to the use of the two verbs as specific structures, with prepositions and as idiomatic expressions. ü Ejemplos ilustrativos acompañando a cada una de las explicaciones. ü Illustrative examples accompanying each explanation. ü Ejercicios de autoevaluación para la práctica de los diferentes contenidos. ü Self-assessment exercises allowing you to practise the different material. ü Actividades para trabajar de forma práctica con los contenidos. ü Activities on the material taught. ü Materiales de consulta y bibliografía. ü Research materials and a bibliography. 4

5 4) METODOLOGÍA Y HORARIOS METHODOLOGY AND TIMING Ø Convocatoria abierta durante todo el año Ø The course is available throughout the year. Ø Duración: 25 horas estructuradas en cinco unidades didácticas. Duration: 25 hours structured into 5 teaching units. Todo el curso se realiza sobre una aplicación informática que permite descargar los contenidos del curso y tener acceso a un servicio de mensajería con el tutor para que puedas realizar consultas o aclaraciones. The course takes places in a computer programme that allows you to download the course material and access the message servicing through which you can consult your tutor about any doubts etc. En la aplicación Web encontrarás los contenidos del curso, tanto lecciones como prácticas y un intuitivo sistema de comunicación con tu tutor. On the website, you will find the course materials, as well as the levels, exercises and a communication service through which you can consult your tutor. En el área de prácticas además, se encuentran las actividades para que puedas realizarlas a tu ritmo y consultar dudas de realización con el profesor. In the área de prácticas (exercises section), there activities which you can do at your own pace and go over with your tutor. El carácter a distancia de la formación, permite realizar el curso de forma cómoda y flexible, sin estar sujeto a horarios predeterminados. Cada estudiante puede seguir su propio ritmo de estudio y decidir el tiempo en que desea completar el curso y obtener el certificado. As this is a distance learning course, you can do it comfortably and in a flexible manner without predetermined time constraints. Each student can work 5

6 at their own pace and can decide when they want to complete the course and obtain the certificate. Por ello y por la flexibilidad para elegir el nivel que se desea alcanzar, no existe un tiempo predecible para la realización del curso en su totalidad, aunque el tiempo medio estimado para completar cada uno de los módulos (incluida la autoevaluación y la realización de los ejercicios) es de unas 4 horas. (Lo que sumaría un total de 20 horas en caso de que se realizasen todos los módulos). As a result of the above and of the freedom to choose the level you want to work up to, there is no fixed timeframe in which you have to finish the course in its entirety, although the estimated time in which you can finish a section (including the self-evaluation and the exercises) averages four hours (Therefore, it can take a total of 20 hours to finish all the sections.) 5) PRECIO PRICE 50 Euros 6) ACREDITACIÓN ACCREDITATION Closeteachers es una organización especializada en la enseñanza del español como segunda lengua y que ofrece a este fin diferentes programas tanto presenciales como a distancia. Estos programas se realizan en colaboración con diferentes escuelas de español, todas ellas parte integrante de la Red de Centros Asociados del Instituto Cervantes. Closeteachers, an organisation specialising in teaching Spanish as a second language, offers both face-to-face and distance courses. The organization pulls off these programmes in collaboration with other schools of Spanish, all of which are a part of the network of centres associated with the Instituto Cervantes. 6

7 El resultado es una cuidada planificación de la programación de los cursos, cuyos contenidos están siempre adaptados a las directrices propuestas por el Plan Curricular del Instituto Cervantes y a la normativa Europea sugerida por el Marco Común Europeo de Referencia. The result is a well-thought-out programme of courses, whose materials fall in line with the guidelines of both the Curriculum Plan of the Instituto Cervantes and of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. Al final del curso, Closeteachers expedirá un Diploma acreditativo de la formación recibida en Los verbos ser y estar en español, donde figurará el nivel adquirido por el estudiante. At the end of the course, Closeteachers will issue a certificate stating the level you have reached in the course on the Spanish verbs of Ser and Estar ( Los verbos ser y estar en español ). *Para aquellos estudiantes que no completen todos los módulos, será posible en el futuro, recibir un nuevo certificado donde figure el nivel posterior-superior adquirido. *For students who don t initially complete all the sections, it will later be possible to receive a new certificate, stating the new level completed. 7
