We want to thank all of you who contributed proposals, suggested panel discussions and offered ideas for this conference. We are delighted you have chosen to join us as we focus on the literary, artistic, social and political importance of the Caribbean and celebrate the 200 th Anniversary of the Birth of Gertrudis Gómez de Avellaneda.
