Early Literacy Concepts about Print Concepts of written language (i.e.; directionality, spacing, etc.) Understand and talk about the concept of a sentence. Find the names of colors. Read and write the names of colors. Some words represent big ideas or items. Find words that relate to the smaller ideas or items related to the big ideas.

RF.1.4.C: Use context to confirm or self-correct word recognition and understanding, rereading as necessary.
