1 1/6 In order to carry out a Global, Formative and Cumulative assessment of the students teachinglearning process, there will be two parts of assessment: the DAILY PROGRESS and the EXAM in itself distributed as follows: Con el fin de llevar a cabo una evaluación global, Formativa y Sumativa del proceso en enseñanza-aprendizaje de las alumnas y los alumnos, habrá dos partes evaluables: la PROGRESIÓN DIARIA y la PRUEBA/EXAMEN en sí misma distribuidas de la siguiente manera: TEST / EXAM 70% (100 points = 70%): The students will have a Test upon each didactic unit finished and a Term Exam every 3 units. The test/exam will be based on the four skills of a language: Written Comprehension, Written Expression, Oral Comprehension, Oral Expression, distributed as the following: Reading Written Comprehension 10 points (minimum 3 points) Vocabulary Grammar 30 points Writing/Composition Listening Oral Comprehension 10 points (minimum 3 points) Speaking Oral Expression 10 points (minimum 3 points) PRUEBA / EXAMEN 70% (100 puntos = 70%): Las alumnas y alumnos tendràn una prueba al finalizar cada unidad didáctica y un Examen Trimestral al finalizar el trimestre (cada 3 unidades). La prueba/examen estará basada en las cuatro destrezas de un idioma: Comprensión Escrita, Expresión Escrita, Comprensión Oral, Expresión Oral, distribuidas de la siguiente manera: Lectura Comprensiva Comprensión Escrita 10 puntos (mínimo 3 punntos) Vocabulario 20 puntos Gramática 30 puntos Redacción 20 puntos Audio Comprensión Oral 10 puntos (mínimo 3 puntos) Oral Expresión Oral 10 puntos (mínimo 3 puntos) Written Expression 70 points (minimum 25 points) Expresión Escrita 70 puntos (mínimo 25 puntos) Very important warning: The student will need a minimum score in each of the four skills of the language. If they do not get that minimum, the exam will be failed (no matter the final score of the exam). Aspecto muy importante: Las alumnas y alumnos necesitarán una puntuación mínima en cada una de las cuatro partes/destrezas del idioma. Si no se obtiene ese mínimo, la prueba/examen estará suspendido (sin importar la puntuación final de la prueba). DAILY PROGRESS 30% distributed as follows: Homework 10% (10 points = 10%)

2 2/6 Active Participation 10% (10 points = 10%) Discipline 10% (10 points = 10%) PROGRESIÓN DIARIA 30% distribuidos de la siguiente manera: Deberes 10% (10 puntos = 10%) Participación Activa 10% (10 puntos = 10%) Disciplina 10% (10 puntos = 10%) THE FINAL GRADE OF THE TERM WILL BE THE AVERAGE BETWEEN THE TESTS OF EACH UNIT AND THE TERM EXAM, TAKING INTO ACCOUNT THAT THE TERM EXAM WILL HAVE TWICE THE VALUE OF THE TESTS. LA NOTA FINAL DEL TRIMESTRE/EVALUACIÓN SERÁ LA MEDIA DE LAS PRUEBAS DE CADA UNIDAD CON EL EXAMEN TRIMESTRAL DE EVALUACIÓN, TENIENDO EN CUENTA QUE ESE EXAMEN DE EVALUACIÓN TENDRÁ VALOR DOBLE. En el caso que un alumno o alumna obtenga una puntuación final positiva pero, en alguna de las destrezas no haya llegado al mínimo, se le dará una oportunidad de repetir (sólo en los

3 3/6 controles) la destreza que no haya alcanzado el mínimo en la sesión inmediatamente posterior a la entrega de los resultados de la prueba. Parts of the Test / Exam: WC: Reading Comprehension exercise with one or two activities. WE: 1 or 2 Vocabulary exercise/s based on the words seen in the unit. 2 or 3 Grammar exercises based on the syntactic structures seen in the unit. A writing (100/120 words) about topics related to the unit. OC: A Listening exercise with one or two activities. OE: An oral exam (individual / in pairs) about topics related to the unit. Partes de la Prueba / Examen: CE: Ejercicio de Comprensión Lectora con una o dos actividades. EE: 1 ó 2 ejercicios de Vocabulario basados en las palabras vistas en la unidad. 2 ó 3 ejercicios de Gramática basados en las estructuras sntácticas vistas en la unidad. Redacción (100/120 palabras) sobre temas relacionados con la unidad. CO: Un ejercicio de Audio con una o dos actividades. EO: Una prueba oral (individual / por parejas) sobre temas relacionados to the unit. 4 4/6 PRUEBA Al finalizar cada unidad didáctica EXAMEN Al finalizar cada Trimestre (incluyendo los contenidos de las 3 unidades del Trimestre) LECTURA COMPRENSIVA VOCABULARIO GRAMÁTICA REDACCIÓN AUDIO ORAL 10 puntos de la puntuación total de la prueba. 30 points CE: Mínimo 3 puntos 70 puntos de la puntuación total de la prueba. EE: Mínimo 25 puntos 10 puntos de la puntuación total de la prueba. CO: Mínimo 3 puntos 10 puntos de la puntuación total de la prueba. EO: Mínimo 3 puntos DAILY PROGRESS ASSESSMENT INSTRUMENT DAILY PROGRESS Exercises/homework/writings about current topics. HOMEWORK 10 points ASSESSMENT CRITERIA The daily homework is compulsory for all students with no excuse. Students will be assessed once in each test/exam [0/10 points] Students with homework not done without justified reason will be penalized. Trainee monitoring form about the progress of every student, also their active participation in class and the correct use of English. ACTIVE PARTICIPATION 10 points The daily progress in class is definitely decisive to the final score. Diary notes will be taken to be assessed once in each test/exam [0/10 points] depending on progress of the student, active participation and the correct use of English in class or not. DISCIPLINE 10 points Discipline is very important for the group to coexist. Students will be assessed once in each test/exam [0/10 points]. Any student expelled from class by disruptive behaviour or lack of discipline showed will be penalized. Any lack of respect towards partners or teacher will be scored as `0.

5 PROGRESSIÓN DIARIA ASSESSMENT CRITERIA English Language ESO 5/6 INSTRUMENTO DE EVALUACIÓN PROGRESIÓN DIARIA Ejercicios/deberes/redacciones sobre temas de actualidad. DEBERES 10 puntos CRITERIO DE EVALUACIÓN Los deberes diarios son obligatorios para todos los alumnos y alumnas sin excusa. El alumnado será evaluado una vez cada prueba [0/10 puntos]. El alumnado con deberes no hechos sin causa justificada será penalizado. Hoja de seguimiento del alumnado de los progresos de cada alumno y alumna y de su actitud participativa en clase, así como utilizar el inglés como lengua vehicular en clase de manera correcta. PARTICIPACIÓN ACTIVA 10 puntos La progresión diaria en clase es definitivamente decisiva para la nota final. El profesor realizará anotaciones diarias en una hoja de seguimiento para evaluar una vez en cada prueba/examen [0/10 puntos] según la progresión del alumno o de la alumna, la participación activa y el uso correcto del inglés como lengua vehicular en clase o no. COMPORTAMIENTO/DISCIPLINA 10 puntos La disciplina es muy importante para el buen funcionamiento y convivencia del grupo. El alumnado será evaluado una vez en cada prueba/examen [0/10 puntos]. Cualquier alumno o alumna expulsado de clase por conducta disruptiva o cualquier muestra de falta de disciplina será penalizada. Cualquier falta de respeto hacia los compañeros y compañeras y/o el profesor supondrá un `0 en este apartado. CHEATING AND ACADEMY HONESTY: Any student attempting to copy from another student during an exam or allowing another to copy your work; using unauthorized notes during a closed book exam; preparing answers or writing notes in non authorised sheets or in the desk before an exam; taking an examination for another student; will be sanctioned by being expelled from class and will automatically fail the exam. HONESTIDAD ACADÉMICA: Cualquier alumno o alumna intentando copiar de otro u otra durante una prueba/examen o dejando que otro u otra copie del suyo; utilizar apuntes no autorizados durante una prueba/examen de libro cerrado; preparar respuestas o escribir notas en hojas no autoritadas o en la mesa antes de una prueba/examen; hacer el examen por otro

6 alumno o alumna; será sancionado con expulsión de clase i será automáticamente suspendido en esa prueba/examen. 6/6 RETAKE EXAMS Before the end of the academic year (in june before delivering EVALUACIÓN FINAL ORDINARIA JUNIO), students that did not get the minimum aims or skills during the former terms will have a chance of retaking those not reached aims or skills within a specific test focused on that skill. If a student, after academic year is ended and june retake exams are made, still have not reach the minimum aims, may take the EVALUACIÓN FINAL EXTRAORDINARIA SEPTIEMBRE which, apart from the reached skills or not during the year, will be based on a global test including all the skills of a language and that test will be assessed with a value of 100% without taking the daily progress but using the assessment criteria showed above. PRUEBAS DE RECUPERACIÓN Antes de finalizar el curso (en junio antes de emitir la EVALUACIÓN FINAL ORDINARIA JUNIO), el alumnado que no haya alcanzado alguno de los objetivos mínimos o destrezas durante los trimestres anteriores tendrá la oportunidad de recuperar esos objetivos o destrezas no alcanzados en una prueba específica enfocada en esa destreza. En el caso que algún alumno o alumna, finalizado el curso y realizadas las recuperaciones de junio, no haya superado los objetivos mínimos, tendrá que acudir a las pruebas de EVALUACIÓN FINAL EXTRAORDINARIA SEPTIEMBRE en las que, independientemente de las destrezas que haya alcanzado o no durante el curso, el alumno o alumna tendrá que realizar una prueba global que incluirá todas las destrezas del idioma y dicha prueba será evaluada con un valor de 100% sin tener en cuenta la progresión diaria y teniendo en cuenta los criterios de calificación arriba expuestos.
