As he describes his family, jot down the name of each family member, their relationship to the instructor, and where they live.

9 Small Things With Affection Adriana uses the term primito to talk about her cousin Gabriel. Also refering to Gabriel, she says that her aunt tiene un hijito. The suffix -ito is added to the names of people and things that are either small, cute, or dear to you in some way. Of course, -ito is the masculine suffix, and - ita is the feminine. The suffix -ito(a) is usually used for nouns ending in -o, -a, and -l; while -cito(a) is usually used for nouns that end in all other letters. Actividad 3: Your Turn Think about the words you have just seen. How might you use this pattern to refer in Spanish to someone that is dear to you, a member in your family and a youngster in your school?
