Hence, as soon as anyone of the faithful begins to be in danger of death from sickness or old age, the fitting time for him to receive this sacrament has certainly already arrived. 5 PERPETUAL EUCHARISTIC ADORATION "Day and night Jesus dwells in the Blessed Sacrament because YOU are the most important person in the world to Him". Please commit to just one hour a week and feel His love and His peace! Urgent Hours needing to be covered: Thursdays 7-8 p.m. Fridays 4-5 p.m. Saturdays 12-1 p.m. Sundays 1-2 p.m. If you are unable to commit to one hour each week in Adoration, at this time, please consider being on our Substitute List. You would fill in for one hour only when one of our regular adorers is unable to cover their hour due to illness, surgery or vacation. Also Needed: In order for Eucharistic Adoration to operate smoothly we are in need of 3 Hourly Captains who would be willing to oversee the adorers for one of the 24 hours. 6 ST. VINCENT DE PAUL Lent is a call not only to give up something but more importantly to see and respond to the needs of others. Basic needs such as food and shelter are also essential for all. The lonely would love a visit from a neighbor. There are many homeless around our parish who would like a smile or friendly greeting. We all have different gifts and we need to share them. As we continue in this second week of Lent let us look for the needs of others and help them in a loving way. Thanks to the generosity of the RE Ministry, who provided the soup and the bread, our first Soup Supper was very successful. Soup Supper will continue each Tuesday during Lent from 5-630pm in Smith Hall. It is a good time to spend with friends and family. The SVDP pantry is in need of canned fruit and cereal. If you are able to bring one can of fruit or one box of cereal it will help us keep our pantry shelves filled. These items may be left in the Parish Office or Gift Shop. Remember Soup Supper is each Tuesday during Lent in Smith Hall from 5 to 6:30pm. Easter Lilies FOR THE CATHEDRAL Easter lilies may be purchased in dedication or in memory of a loved one. The lilies will then be used to decorate the altar and sanctuary during the Easter season. Your loved one s name will be displayed on the plant. For sale one weekend only March 10 & 11 Lilies are $15 per plant. Get your lily while supplies last. Only 100 will be sold. BOY SCOUT PANCAKE BREAKFAST MARCH 11 7:30-11:00AM Troop 148 Invites you to our annual Pancake Breakfast. This is our sole fundraiser to teach the boys the importance of working to pay for their camp. 10 SAN VICENTE DE PAÚL La Cuaresma es una llamada no solo a renunciar a algo sino, lo que es más importante, a ver y responder a las necesidades de los demás. Las necesidades básicas como comida y refugio también son esenciales para todos. A los solitarios les encantaría la visita de un vecino. Hay muchas personas sin hogar en nuestra parroquia a quienes les gustaría una sonrisa o un saludo amistoso. Todos tenemos diferentes dones y necesitamos compartirlos. Mientras continuamos en esta segunda semana de Cuaresma, busquemos las necesidades de los demás y ayúdelos de una manera amorosa. Gracias a la generosidad del Ministerio de RE, quien proporcionó la sopa y el pan, nuestra primera Cena de Sopa tuvo mucho éxito. La Cena de Sopa continuará cada martes durante la Cuaresma de 5-6:30 p.m. en el Smith Hall. Es un buen momento para pasar con amigos y familiares. La despensa SVDP necesita frutas y cereales enlatados. Si puede traer una lata de fruta o una caja de cereal, nos ayudará a mantener nuestros estantes llenos. Estos artículos pueden dejarse en la oficina parroquial o en la tienda de regalos. Recuerde... La cena de sopa es cada martes durante la Cuaresma en Smith Hall de 5 a 6:30 p.m. LA CAMPAÑA DE CARIDAD Y DESARROLLO 2018 La Campaña de Caridad y Desarrollo (CDA) provee a todos y cada familia la oportunidad de poner su fe en acción.
