Topics include: Is there more to life than this? Why and how do I pray? Does God heal today? And more... It's that time of the year again for the Annual Knights of Columbus Free Throw Basketball Competition. It will take place on January 18, 2017 at 9:00 a.m., in SS. Simon and Jude School Gym. The competition is open to all kids, girls and boys, ages 9 to 14 years of age. Shooters will compete against girls and boys of the same age, so anyone can be a winner. All winners will go on to compete in the district contest in February. From here they could go on to State Competition and even to the International Competition. Competition applications may be picked up on the day of the event or can be found in school and Parish Offices. 5 January 21 6:00pm Organ Dedication Concert II Dr. Skye Hart, Dean of the Central Arizona Chapter of the American Guild of Organists, will play a concert on our new pipe organ. Dr. Hart, who is Music Director at St. Maria Goretti in Scottsdale and directs the 9:00pm Mass at All Saints Newman Center, will present a wonderful and varied concert. Works by Couperin, de Grigny, Bach, and Saint-Martin, will be played and Dr. Hart will improvise a three part suite on the lives of St. Simon and St. Jude. SAS is a group of seniors who gather twice a month to meet new people, stay connected to old friends, go on field trips, play card games, BINGO, eat, sing and pray. MARK YOUR CALENDARS!
