Prayer to Our Lady of Good Remedy O Mother of the Divine Redeemer, who under the title of our Lady of Good Remedy comes to the aid of all who call upon thee, extend thy maternal protection to us. We depend on thee, Dear Mother, as helpless and needy children depend on a tender and caring mother. Thrift Store Needs You may give electronically at www.stmichaelsgastonia.org Prayerfully consider giving at least one hour's wage per week to the Lord. DID YOU KNOW? The residual effects of having been abused can last a lifetime The store once again is preparing for school to begin in the next few weeks. If you have any good school clothes and shoes for any school age child, school supplies, or children's reading books (any level) please donate to the thri store. We are hoping to get as many children as we can started off on the right foot this school year. For addi onal informa on please contact AmyPrui at 704-864-8646 or apprui @stmichaelsgastonia.org. Thank you for your generosity! Those who have been abused seldom just get over it. The sense of violation goes deep into a person s psyche and feelings of anger, shame, hurt and betrayal can build long after the abuse has taken place. Some have even described the feeling as if it has scarred their soul. Those who have been abused can heal, but it often takes time, therapy, and the support of loved ones. As a Church, we can help support those who have been abused by keeping them in prayer and providing opportunties for healing. Protecting God s Children Awareness class is mandatory for any adult who volunteers at St. Michael Catholic Church and School. The date and time of our next class will be announced soon! Have you given real thought lately to how good God has been to you? Do you give in proportion to what God has given you?

Celebrating the Feast of Our Lady of Chiquinquirá Baseball Nite with Fr. Rossi
