The next ISPTO meeting is Tuesday, October 20th at the Bradley Auxiliary Commons. The business portion of the meeting will begin at 6:30PM with the "Meet the Candidates" portion starting at 7:00PM. Double WHITE OUT week is coming! On Wednesday, October 7th, the 7th and 8th grade football teams will battle Memorial Middle School at Bradley. The 7th grade game starts at 5:00 PM followed by the 8th grade game. It's a WHITE OUT! Darby's football theme for Friday, October 9th is WHITE OUT. Student Volunteer Opportunity: Hoffman Trails Elementary is looking for some student volunteers! If your son or daughter is able to volunteer, please email me atcarolslavka@gmail.com. District News Check Student Interim Grades Anytime Parents of students in grades 6-12 are able to access student grades through the Home Access Center anytime day or night. Our teachers post grades in real time to give you the most current and pertinent information on your child s academic progress. Beginning this year there will be no official interim report cards sent to parents. You can get to the Home Access Center here. Parent questions regarding grades should be directed to your child s teacher and/or guidance counselor. Meet the School Board Candidates The ISPTO will be hosting a meet the school board candidates night on October 20 th at 7:00 pm at Bradley High School. This is open to the whole community so please share this information with friends and neighbors. 4 TH Annual Cody Jewell Memorial Scholarship 5K The 4th Annual Cody Jewell Memorial Scholarship Trick or Trot 5K and Family Fun Run is set for October 3 rd. Pre-race day registrants will receive a t-shirt and Chris Cake's Breakfast following the race. All proceeds go directly to The Cody Jewell Memorial Scholarship Fund that awards one graduating senior at all Hilliard High Schools a $1000 scholarship to continue their educational journeys! Community Cardboard Challenge Hilliard City Schools have been selected by the Columbus Museum of Art and the Imagination Foundation as a site to host a COMMUNITY CARDBOARD CHALLENGE on OCTOBER 10TH from 9:00-Noon. Several of our elementary schools are participating in this event. The Community Cardboard Challenge was inspired by Caine's Arcade; you can watch this video to learn more. Our Community Cardboard Challenge will take place at Heritage Middle School. All supplies will be provided and students can take home what they make. We do hope you will be able to join us for this fantastic family event!
