1 BETHLEMITAS SCHOOL Reinforcement Plan Day 27 Month 03 Year 2015 TERM: I Date: COMPREHENSION GOAL: The students develop comprehension about the Living and Non- living things, plants, animals and their main AREA: Science functions related to the ecosystem. TEACHER: Juan Pablo Ramírez. SUBJECT: Science Student Name: Group: 2 A B 1. OBSERVACIONES Y RECOMENDACIONES: El siguiente plan de refuerzo contiene la ejercitación básica de los tópicos desarrollados durante el período. Se debe tener en cuenta para su realización las guías de desarrollo e informativa trabajadas, los apuntes de clase, las guías de control corregidas y los referentes bibliográficos que encontrará al final del plan. La metodología bajo la cual se desarrollará este consiste en el desarrollo guiado -por el docente. La participación en la jornada de retroalimentación y el desarrollo del plan de refuerzo equivale al 20% del porcentaje total de la nota de recuperación. (El estudiante debe presentarse a la retroalimentación con su respectivo plan de refuerzo impreso), la asistencia a dicha retroalimentación será de obligatorio cumplimiento para todos los estudiantes que hayan reprobado alguna de las asignaturas. Si el estudiante no se presenta a la jornada de retroalimentación, se asume como juicio valorativo 1.0 y se deja constancia en el anecdotario en Atención especializada. (SIEE Art 2, Nota 2) 2. Development: Living and Non Living things The world is made up of both living and non-living things. Living things refer to things that are alive. For Living things it is necessary air, food and water to live, they grow and develop, use energy, reproduce, move and adapt. Non-living things refer to the things that don t grow, they can t move by themselves, don t die and they cannot reproduce. 2 Biotic and Abiotic components: Biotic components: They are living things that are present in an ecosystem. Each biotic factor needs energy. Abiotic Components: They are Non- living things that are present in an ecosystem. Plants and their parts Plants need air, light, water and space to grow. They can be trees, grasses or shrubs Functions of plant parts : Roots: They grow in the soil. They absorb water, nutrients and other minerals. They hold the plant. Stem: It holds the leaves, flower ad fruits. The stem provides support to the plant and distributes the nutrients from the roots to the rest of the tree. Leaves: They make food to the plant, they contain the green pigment called Chorophyll. The leaves produce oxygen. Flowers: They have different colors, some flowers makes seeds, many flowers grow into fruits. Fruits: They contain the seeds and the seeds grow and became new plants. Página 2 de 5

3 Plants life Cycle Plant life begins with a seed. The seed is planted and the roots grow down, the stem and leaves grow up and reproduce and form a small plant. Then the small plant continue to grow in an adult plant Plants adaptations: Plants had to adapt to help themselves to survive, live and grow. In this way, plants can live in different habitats with different characteristics: - Desert: Plants are cactus with spines instead of leaves. The store much water. - Tropical Rain forest: Plants grow very fast and collect rainwater. - Grasslands: Plants grow strong because the soil is rich in organic material. - Aquatic: Plants grow in the water or soil saturated with water 4. EJERCITACION: a) Which are living thing and which are not? Look at the pictures.
