Recognizing the need for good information, the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels is again sponsoring special free sessions with Archdiocese of Los Angeles Trust and Estates Director Richard Closson and attorney colleagues.. The sessions will be offered on three separate dates so people can attend the one that is most convenient. Each 60 minute session will provide information on the important factors to consider when planning or updating a Will. Mr. Closson and attorneys will also be available to speak with individuals on a one-to-one basis if there are specific questions. RELIGIOUS EDUCATION FOR CHILDREN OF REGISTERED PARISHIONERS AT THE CATHEDRAL OF OUR LADY OF THE ANGELS Programs Offered (October June) General Faith Formation - one Sunday a month for the whole family, all ages welcome. Sessions begin with 8:00 am mass including a Children s Liturgy of the Word Dismissal followed by a session involving Parents and Children from 9:00 am 11:00 am. First Communion (1 st grade and up) and Confirmation (high school) Preparation These are both two year programs. Families attend a second session each month on a weekday evening in addition to the Sunday General Faith Formation Session. Application Requirements: Registered parishioner for a minimum of six months Parents must attend all sessions and commit to working with their children on a weekly basis in the home.
