For instance, what a better way to start than learning a new language, first you might think this will be a long process and, what am I going to need it for? You might say, my plans are always to stay here at my city with my family I will use my learned skills. We all have different lifestyles, some of you might like to be global trotters, and some other might enjoy foreign literature or maybe art and films. In this lesson you will master possessive adjectives, a very important basic key on engaging conversations, learning how to use questions with be will give you the ability to easily communicate with others. Let s start by reviewing this first topic and learn new vocabulary about greeting and personal information, fundamental for introducing yourself to other and useful when communicating in English speakers from all countries. 2

3 1.1 Wh-questions and statements with be; questions (what, where, who, and how) Wh- Questions allow speakers to find out more information about an specific topic: Wh-question Meaning Used to ask What? Object/action Information about something Where? Place Questions about place or position. Who/Whom? Person About someone s identity. How? Manner The way in which something is done.
