1 Lesson 40: must, must not, should not Lección 40: debe, no debe, no debería Reading (Lectura) You must answer all the questions. ( Debes responder a todas las preguntas ) We must obey the law. ( Debemos que obedecer a la ley ) You worked so hard all day. You must be tired. (Trabajaste muy duro todo el día. Debes estar cansado ) This is a new model. It must be expensive. ( Este es un nuevo modelo. Debe ser caro ) She must not eat during the class. ( Ella no debe comer durante la clase ) I will tell you a secret. You must not tell anybody. ( Te contaré un secreto. 3 Grammar focus (Enfoque grammatical ) Los verbos auxiliares se colocan antes de los verbos en oraciones, y dan significado adicional a los verbos. El verbo auxiliar must es usado para describir una alta probabilidad u obligación. Agrega not despapes de must para hacer oraciones negativas. E.g.)He must be upset now. (Él debe estar molesto ahora.) He must not have known where to go. (Él no debe haber sabido dónde ir.) You must go home soon. (Tú debes de ir a casa pronto) You must not go home soon. (Tú no debes de ir a casa pronto) El verbo auxiliary should es usado para describir una expectación u obligación. Agrega not después de should para hacer oraciones negativas. E.g.)According to the weathercast, it should rain tomorrow. (De acuerdo con el pronóstico del clima, debería llover mañana) According to the weathercast, it should not rain tomorrow.
