Entidad: ICAI Universidad Pontificia Comillas RESUMEN DEL PROYECTO El enclavamiento ferroviario es el sistema encargado del establecimiento seguro de itinerarios y generación de las autoridades de movimiento (aspectos permisivos de las señales). Una vez establecidos y comprobados los itinerarios, como el enclavamiento no tiene ninguna actuación sobre los mandos del tren por si mismo, necesita de equipos de ATP (Automatic Train Datection) o ERTMS (European Rail Traffic Management System), balizas, que actúan sobre el tren. En caso de no disponer de ninguno de estos equipos, el establecimiento de itinerarios requiere el mando, control (enclavamiento) y comprobación de los elementos físicos de las vías de los ferrocarriles, para lograr un perfecto y seguro movimiento de los trenes en cualquier línea ferroviaria. En este proyecto se va a realizar un análisis del funcionamiento de un enclavamiento y una aplicación que permite simular el mando y establecer los itinerarios de un enclavamiento de una estación. También permite controlar todas las señales que intervienen en el paso de un tren por un tramo de vías para evitar posibles colisiones. El paso de un tren por un tramo determinado de vía está controlado mediante mecanismos eléctricos o electrónicos como son el circuito de vía o el contador de ejes, así como elementos mecánicos como son los accionamientos de los cambios de las agujas y señales. La información comprobación- del estado de todos estos elementos es enviada al CTC (Control Traffic Center) o al panel local para mostrar la situación de los trenes a lo largo de su itinerario. El proyecto consiste en modelar un sistema que relacione todas las posibles combinaciones de situaciones de trenes con las señales que autorizan la circulación ferroviaria, para establecer qué valores deben tomar las señales para una circulación segura del tren (incompatibilidades entre itinerarios). Este modelo será utilizado posteriormente para simular en un PC el Puesto de Mando donde se representa el movimiento de los trenes y así poder verificar su funcionamiento correcto. Para la elaboración del modelo se debe conocer la situación del campo. La situación del campo está compuesta por el estado de las señales, la posición de los desvíos y el estado de

2 las vías a lo largo del tramo (ocupación de los circuitos de vía), para determinar la posibilidad de establecer el itinerario seleccionado desde el CTC para el movimiento seguro del tren en ese momento. Esta información (Eventos) se ha empleado en la fase lógica, donde se detallan las ecuaciones lógicas (Estado) para conocer el estado al que deben pasar las señales tras recibir los datos de entrada (Acciones). Una vez evaluadas y comprobadas las órdenes a realizar, se han de ejecutar los pasos necesarios para el establecimiento del itinerario como son: el cambio de las agujas que requieran ser movidas, la situación de señales o agujas que proporcionen una protección lateral a la ruta establecida (protección de flancos y deslizamientos), y por último, autorizar el movimiento mediante el aspecto de las señales. Los mandos para el establecimiento del itinerario se reciben desde el CTC o desde el Cuadro de Mando Local. Con esta información se lleva a cabo el establecimiento de este itinerario mediante el envío de órdenes al enclavamiento y recibiendo una comprobación para conocer si la orden enviada se puede realizar. La secuencia de operaciones es: se envía una orden al enclavamiento, se comprueba si es posible realizarla, se mueven los desvíos a nueva ruta, se autoriza el movimiento y se informa al Cuadro de Mando Local de esta acción o al CTC. Para representar el flujo de información y describir el funcionamiento de un enclavamiento se han utilizado diversos diagramas UML. Se han empleado diagramas de flujo, diagramas de secuencia y diagramas de caso de uso para elaborar el modelo del enclavamiento. En la aplicación que realiza la simulación se ha de representar un enclavamiento con el conjunto de vías de ferrocarril que forman parte del enclavamiento. A través de este enclavamiento se van a estudiar los diferentes movimientos que se pueden realizar. Estos movimientos pueden ser movimientos manuales, automáticos, cambios de agujas o anulaciones de itinerario. El enclavamiento está compuesto por las señales, CV y agujas por donde pasan los trenes. Estos elementos, especialmente los CV dividen a las vías en zonas de detección del tren. La aplicación tiene como soporte varias tablas. Entre ellas cabe destacar la tabla con los posibles movimientos que se pueden realizar. Estos movimientos pueden ser: paso directo entre origen y destino, rebases autorizados, maniobras locales o centralizadas, y salidas y entradas hacia un destino por una vía seleccionada. La aplicación también necesita de la tabla de incompatibilidades entre itinerarios y la tabla de deslizamiento, que indica cómo deben estar las señales y agujas para que el tren pueda realizar el itinerario seleccionado.

3 La aplicación permite utilizar un enclavamiento ya diseñado, denominado ICAI, o diseñar un enclavamiento propio. Para diseñar el simulador gráfico del enclavamiento, que a su vez puede actuar como puesto de mando, se dispone de un menú donde se pueden seleccionar elementos para componer el diseño de las vías de ferrocarril, como puede ser los distintos tipos de señales, las agujas para representar los desvíos o los circuitos de vía y su longitud. Una vez diseñadas las vías de ferrocarril, y elegido el movimiento a realizar, se simula el movimiento del tren a lo largo de los circuitos de vía. Durante el movimiento del tren se puede observar gráficamente los valores que van tomando los diferentes elementos que constituyen el movimiento. Las señales cambian de aspecto, las agujas y CV cambian de color dependiendo de la situación en la que se encuentren. Como los elementos implicados en el movimiento del tren según el itinerario a realizar están enclavados, según avanza el tren los elementos comienzan la fase de desenclavamiento. Puede haber varios trenes moviéndose a la vez si había más de un itinerario enclavado. Una vez finalizada la fase de desenclavamiento, el sistema de Enclavamiento queda preparado para poder de nuevo enclavar itinerario. FUNCTIONAL SIMULATION IN PC OF A RAILWAY INTERLOCKING The railway interlocking is the system in charge of the safe establishment of itineraries and generation of the movement authorities (permissive aspects of the signals). Once established and verified the itineraries, as the interlocking by itself does not have any performance on the controls of the train, it needs equipment of ATP or ERTMS, beacons, to act on the train. In case of not having no of these equipment, the establishment of itineraries requires the order, control (interlocking) and verification of the physical elements of the routes of the railroads, to obtain a perfect and safe movement of the trains in any railway line. In this project, is going away to make an analysis of the operation of a interlocking and an application that allows to simulate the control and to establish the itineraries of a interlocking of a station. Also it allows to control all the signals that take part in the movement of a train by a section of routes to avoid possible collisions. The movement of a train by a determined section of route is controlled by means of electrical or electronic mechanisms as they are the circuit of route or the accountant of shaft, as well as mechanical elements as they are the drives of the changes of the points and signals. The information - verification of the state of

4 all these elements is sent to the CTC or the local panel to show the situation of the trains throughout its itinerary. The project consists of modeling a system that relates all the possible combinations of situations of trains to the signals that authorize the rail traffic, to establish what values must take the signals for a safe circulation from the train (incompatibilities between routes). This model will be used later to simulate in a PC the Command post where the movement of the trains imagines and thus to be able to verify its correct operation. For the elaboration of the model the situation is due to know the field. The situation of the field is compound of the state of the signals, the position of the deflections and the state of the routes throughout the section (occupation of the circuits of route), to determine the possibility then of establishing the itinerary selected from the CTC for the safe movement of the train. This information (Events) has been used in the logical phase, where logics are detailed to the equations (States) to know the state which they must pass the signals after receiving the input datas (Actions). Once evaluated and elaborated the actions to realize, the actions are executed that the establishment of the itinerary requires as they are; the change of the points that they require to be moved, the situation of signals or points that provide a lateral protection to the established route (flank protection and sliding), and finally the aspect of the signals, are received the verification of the correct position of the elements. The controls for the establishment of the itinerary are received from the CTC or the Local Control panel. With this information the establishment of this itinerary by means of the shipment of orders is carried out to the look and receiving a verification to know if the sent order can be made. The sequence of operations is: an order is sent to the interlocking, is verified if it is possible to make it, move the deflections to new route, the movement is authorized and it inquires to the Local Control panel into this action or to the CTC. In order to represent the information flow and to describe the operation of a interlocking diagrams UML have been defined to collect all this. Flow charts, diagrams of sequence and diagrams of case of use have been used to elaborate the model of the interlocking. The application that realizes the simulation has to represent an interlocking with the set of railroad routes that form the interlocking that is wanted to study with its corresponding points for possible deflections or local or central manoeuvres. The look also is made up of the

5 signals and the CV through where they pass the trains and that divide to the routes in zones of detection of the train. The application has like support several tables like are the table with the possible movements that can be made. Between these movements the direct steps between origin and destiny can be emphasized, you escape authorized, local or centralized maneuvers, and exits and entrances towards a destiny by a selected route. The application also needs the table of incompatibilities between itineraries and the table of sliding that it indicates as they must be the signals and needles so that the train can make the selected itinerary. The application gives the possibility of using a designed interlocking, denominated ICAI, or of designing your own interlocking. In order to design the interlocking it is had a menu where elements can be selected to compose the design of the railroad routes, as it can be the different types from signals, the beginning and end of the itinerary, the points to represent the deflections or the length of the circuits of route. Once designed the railroad routes, and chosen the movement to make, moving of the train throughout the circuits of routes is simulated. During the movement of the train it is possible graphically to be observed the values that are taking the different elements that constitute the movement. The signals change of aspect, the points and CV change of color depending on the situation in which they are. As the elements implied in the movement of the train according to the itinerary to make are nailed, according to it advances the train the elements begin the phase of dis-interlocking. It can simultaneously have several trains moving if there were more of a nailed itinerary. Once finalized the phase of dis-interlocking, the system of Interlocking is prepared to be able to again nail itinerary.
