1 Interpersonal: La vida diaria en México In groups of two, you will have conversations about where people go in Mexico City and what they do there using the pictures provided. Each person will ask another person: where are you going and what do you do there? plus one additional follow-up question where is your brother going and what does he do there? plus one additional follow-up question where are your friends going and what do they do there? plus one additional follow-up question Initiates and sustains conversation logically. Asks logical follow-up questions. 4 La Vida Diaria: Presentación Oral Nombre Hora You are a 15-year old from Mexico City studying abroad at La Universidad Complutense in Madrid, Spain. The students in your class are from all over the world, and your first assignment is to teach your classmates about where you are from by explaining your daily life in that place. In order to do so, you will: Show and Tell the class what you, your sister, your parents, and your entire family do in Mexico City and how often you do it. Your presentation must include: places that you and your family members go in Mexico City (pictures) how often you and your family members go to those places (adverbs of frequency) when you and your family members go to those places (antes de la escuela, después de la escuela, cuando llueve, cuando hace sol, durante el verano, durante el invierno, los lunes, los viernes, por la mañana, por la noche, etc.) what you and your family members do at those places (variety of AR, ER, and IR verbs) OJO! NO WRITTEN NOTES may be used. With each statement hold up the corresponding object or picture and show it to the class. 6 México y sus jóvenes Qué hacen los mexicanos jóvenes? De lunes a viernes los muchachos que tienen menos de 18 años van a la escuela. Tienen muchas materias- a veces tienen hasta ocho clases en un día. Y también tienen mucha tarea. Por eso, después de clases muchos estudiantes van a sus casas para hacer la tarea y después descansar. En la ciudad de México hay muchos teatros, museos, tiendas y parques. En cada lugar es posible ver muchos jóvenes, especialmente los fines de semana. Los viernes por la tarde, los sábados y los domingos son los días principales en que los jóvenes mexicanos están libres. Los domingos hay mucha gente en los parques. Andan en bicicleta, practican deportes o tocan un instrumento. De vez en cuando, para el almuerzo, van a un restaurante con sus familias. El domingo es el día principal para pasear descansar.
