It was a very successful fundraising event. Thank you to Wayne and Kim Proctor for assembling the event and coordinating with various ministries to ensure that the bazaar was a success. I also thank all the ministries that donated crafts or prepared food to sell. The bazaar was a demonstration of how our Holy Cross community comes together for the good of the parish. Lastly, thanks to you, our parishioners, for your prayers and for coming out to enjoy the fruits of all the hard work of our Church. The fundraiser raised close to $15,000 and it is because of your dedication. Thank you for furthering the mission of our parish and blessing our parish us with your love. Yo quisiera darle las gracias a nuestra comunidad por todo el arduo trabajo y dedicación que pusieron el fin de semana de nuestro Holiday Craft Bazaar. El evento de nuestra campaña de colección de fondos fue todo un éxito. All of us at Holy Cross Parish want to say a special thank you to Martha Diaz for your commendable service at parish for 18 years as Pastoral Administrative Assistant. Over these 18 years Martha has been a great source of blessings to our parish family offering her time, talent and treasure. We will long remember the professional and generous effort you always made for the smooth and effective administration of our parish. We wish you many happy days with your family and friends. We ask the Lord to stay close to you with his peace, his joy, and his love. Know that you are always welcomed at Holy Cross. Do come and visit with us whenever you can! This verse captures our parish. Each family is a vital part to our success. Including events, about 40%, have made a financial commitment to the future of Holy Cross by pledging $2.7 million While about 870 families have not yet pledged to the GIFT campaign, you can see our construction progress and our commitment to expand. A body cannot function properly, nor thrive, when over 50% of its parts are not fully engaged. We need everyone s love, prayers, support and financial commitment to continue moving forward. It is up to all of us, especially those who have not pledged to raise the remaining construction costs of $6,000,000! Pledges can be made online at or follow the links on our website to the GIFT Campaign. Donations can also be made to the GIFT Campaign in the envelopes in the pews, which can be placed in the collection basket. Give In Faith Today. Celebration will start with Matachines dance at 5:00am followed by Mañanitas to Our Lady of Guadalupe at 5:30am.
