If you have great wealth, give alms out of your abundance; if you have but little, do not be afraid to give alms even of that little. Tobit 4:8 This scripture holds a message that we don t often want to hear, but needs to be said at times. All too often, we allow others to take the lead, or volunteer, or serve in the church, or help with the projects while we sit back and enjoy the benefits. We feel justified because we don t have enough time, or we don t know enough about how to do something, or we don t have enough money to do what is being asked of us. Let us remember we all have something to offer. It is up to us to use what God has given us in large and small measures. As ordinary time resumes, let s make an effort to make these EXTRAORDINARY times by sacrificing and giving in proportion to what we own. As of June 2018, we have $3,068,212 of the $ 6,100,000 needed thanks to the faithful who have given. We need your prayers, pledges and donations to the GIFT Campaign as we continue Phase 2 of our building renovations. Our goal is to reach $4,000,000 by the feast of Holy Cross. Please do what you can!. Pledges can be made online at by following the link on our website to the GIFT campaign. Donations can be placed in the GIFT campaign envelopes in the pews and placed in the collections basket or GIFT box in the back of the church. Give In Faith Today to share. Thank you. Hasta Junio del 2018, tenemos $3 068,212 de $6 100,000 que nesecitamos, gracias a los fieles que han contribuido, con Oraciones, promesas,y donaciones, a la campana GIFT. Continuamos la 2da Face de nuestro Proyecto, nuestra meta es de alcanzar $4 000,000 para cuando celebremos la Festividad de - Holy Cross! Por favor as lo que puedas para apoyarnos. Safe Environment! The Diocese of Fort Worth has made a change and we have a new program for Safe Environment. We will be moving from Safe and Sacred to VIRTUS. 6 HOLY CROSS CATHOLIC CHURCH JULY FOURTEENTH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME 8 DE JULIO, 2018 Adult Faith Formation Classes will be begin in September, and these classes are open to any interested parishioner, grade 6 and up. Encourage your young disciples to attend this class with you and enjoy learning about your faith together. Classes will be offered during the day and evening. Topics will include Exploring Church History Part 2, and introductory course on the Bible and other topics TBD. Thanks to everyone who responded to the interest survey that was ed out to parishioners through Flock Note. If the office does not have your current , please call the office and up date your address. Flock Note is a service Holy Cross provides to parishioners who have a correct Address on file. This enables the parish to communicate quickly and efficiently with you, share news of parish events, feast days, and other important messages.
