Dawson, Albert C. Dawson. 6th. ed. Libro y Manual del trabajo. PURPOSE OF THE COURSE The purpose of the course is to help the students to develop and increase their language skills. In order to accomplish this, the teacher will encourage a complete interaction between the teacher and the students in the Spanish language. The students will listen, speak, read and write in Spanish. This is done in order to follow the requirements established by the American Council for the Teaching of Foreign Languages. The course will include the chapters six to ten. Each chapter deals with a specific subject: Nature and Environment, Shopping, At Home, etc. The course includes Language Lab. Visits to the Language Lab are scheduled at the end of every chapter, according to the syllabus. The students can access my webpage: where they will find links to different sites chosen to help them read, listen, study and learn the Spanish Language. BIENVENIDOS A LA CLASE REQUIREMENTS: Attendance is extremely important in a language practice course. If you do not attend class, you are not participating. As a result, points will be taken off from the 15% participation unless students provide proper documentation (ie: Doctorís note, etc.) after the first abscence. Asistencia y STUDENT EVALUATION:
