2 Dear Families: Bancroft s After-school program offers FREE academic and enrichment opportunities for students. Our Spring Session will run from March 3-April 30. Classes are held on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays from 2-4:10pm. After school classes will not be in session the week of March 31-April 4 for Spring Break. Students may participate in after-school classes on one, two, or all three days. We will provide an after-school snack and a bus ride home for students who ride the bus to school. If your child would like to participate in the After-School Program this winter, please review the classes listed and help your child make a selection. Please select up to two choices per day on the days you would like your child to attend after-school. They will spend the first half of the afternoon in the activity of their choice and will be assigned to an academic class for the second half of the program. Please fill out the registration forms and return them as soon as possible, but no later than Friday, February 21, Students can bring their completed forms to Bancroft s main office or to their homeroom teacher. Registration is first-come, first served. Spaces fill very quickly! Please note that if your child is in GEMS or GISE it runs through May and students should plan on staying unless other arrangements have been made. Your child may choose a Tuesday class if they like. 3 Estimadas familias: La Comunidad de Educación de las Actividades Extraescolares y el programa de ALC ofrece oportunidades académicas y de enriquecimiento GRATIS para los alumnos/as de Bancroft. Nuestro programa de primavera se desarrollará del 3 de marzo al 30 de abril. Las clases se imparten los lunes, martes y miércoles de 2-4:10p.m. Los alumnos pueden participar en las clases después de la escuela en uno, dos o los tres días. También vamos a proporcionar una botana después de la escuela y servicio de transporte escolar para los alumnos que ya cuentan con este servicio. Students spend eight weeks working directly with his mentor then they'll teach their creations in a parade. The participants are chosen only if they qualify for low price or free lunch benefits.
