CONTINUING EDUCATION MISSION STATEMENT The mission of the continuing education division is to offer a variety of free, noncredit classes, programs, and services that enable students to maximize their potential by acquiring the necessary skills to reach their personal, educational, and vocational goals so that they can benefit from, and contribute to, a changing American society as productive, active members of their communities.

Classes are FREE and are offered Open Entry/Open Exit Who May Enroll? GENERAL INFORMATION Persons 18 years of age or older may enroll in continuing education classes. Students under 18 years of age who have not graduated from high school may be admitted by special approval of their high school and approval of a continuing education administrator. All classes are open-entry/open-exit and are free of charge. Individuals may enroll at any time during the summer session provided there is space available in classes. Enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis. Times listed for classes are subject to change without notice from the administration. Classes are open-entry/open-exit; students may begin anytime. Students must be 18 years of age or older. Each student has an individualized educational plan to complete his/ her personal graduation requirements. In addition to classes offered at the Orange Education Center, classes are also offered on the Santiago Canyon College campus. Students may attend any or all sessions offered at either or both locations. Concurrent enrollment in High School Subjects and college credit classes is also offered in some cases. Students interested in concurrent enrollment should meet with a counselor to discuss this option.
