Page 3 www.stritaparish.org FROM THE PRIESTS DESK Brothers and sisters, Paraphrasing the Lord as He speaks in this weekend s Gospel, the Kingdom of heaven is like a good seed full-grown. Whatever parable Jesus uses to teach about the Kingdom of heaven, always at issue is growth, abundance, increase. Hermanas y hermanos, Del Escritorio Del Sacerdote Si parafraseamos al Señor en el Evangelio de este domingo podemos concluir, el Reino de los Cielos es una semilla plenamente crecida. Cualquier parábola presentada por Jesús sobre el Reino siempre pone a la vista el tema del crecimiento, abundancia y aumento. Have you ever asked yourself: What is the Kingdom of heaven for me? Is it a treasure that grows in the form of faith and hope within me? Perhaps we say: -the growth I treasure is the development of my belief and the depth of my spiritual communion with Christ. - Cherish it. So, the Kingdom of heaven is like those who hear and live the Good News Jesus teaches. We ourselves are the Kingdom of heaven when we live according to God s ways. The Kingdom of heaven means Christ himself, whom we daily desire to come, and whose coming we wish to be manifested quickly to us. In the Lord's Prayer, "thy kingdom come" refers primarily to the final coming of the reign of God through Christ's return. That Kingdom is righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit, (Rom 14:17). In Iesus Dominus, Fr. Dayan Machado Os habéis preguntado alguna vez: Qué significa el Reino de los Cielos para mí? Es acaso un tesoro que hace progresar mi fe y mi esperanza? Tal vez nos decimos: -el desarrollo que realmente valoro es mi creencia y la profundidad de mi comunión con Cristo.- De ser así, valoradlo. Entonces, el Reino de los Cielos es como aquellos que escuchan y viven la Buena Nueva que Jesús enseña. Nosotros somos el Reino de los Cielos cuando escuchamos a Dios. El Reino de los Cielos significa Cristo en persona, al cual llamamos con nuestras voces todos los días y de quien queremos apresurar su advenimiento. El Padre Nuestro también aborda la venida final del Reino de Dios por medio del retorno de Cristo. Y ese Reino es justicia, paz y gozo en el Espíritu Santo, (Rom 14: 17). In Iesus Dominus, P.
