Cmmands are used t give an rder r tell smene what t d There are different kinds f cmmands depending n the scial situatin Yu already learned t use familiar cmmands when speaking t smene yu wuld address as tú When speaking t smene wh yu wuld address as usted, r when speaking t multiple peple ( ustedes ), use a frmal cmmand Frmatin f Frmal Cmmands Much like the negative familiar cmmands yu have learned already, frmal cmmands are frmed by fllwing the steps belw: 1. Start with the present tense y frm 2. Drp the frm the end 3. Add the OPPOSITE usted r ustedes frm verb ending as shwn belw -AR Verbs -ER/-IR Verbs Fr Example: Usted -e -a Ustedes -en -an Quite la mesa, pr favr. Clear the table, please. N ensucien la ccina! Any irregularities that ccur in the present tense y frm GO verbs, stem changes, spelling changes, etc. will als be included in the frmal cmmands! Fr example: Infinitive Present Tense y Frmal Cmmand hacer hag haga(n) servir sirv sirva(n) cnducir cnduzc cnduzca(n) Haga las camas. Make the beds. N cnduzca en la autpista. Dn t drive n the highway. Irregular Cmmand Frms Just like familiar cmmands, sme verbs have irregular frmal cmmand frms. These irregularities include: Spelling Changes Verbs that end in -zar -car -gar Spelling Change in Frmal Cmmand -ce(n) -que(n) -gue(n) Sequen ls plats. Dry the dishes. Empiece la lavadra. Sch.
