Apply and extend previous understandings of operations with fractions to add subtract, Multiply, and divide rational numbers. Solve real-life and mathematical problems using numerical and algebraic expressions and equations. Use properties of operations to generate equivalent expressions. Chapter 1 is concentrates on the rational numbers and to expand the concept to proportionality and linear relationships. This concept are used in the language of algebra.
