3 GUIA PARA LA EVALUACION ORAL DE LECCION 3 LA FAMILIA Practica oral For the oral evaluation you will need to have a compañero/a de clase. Outside of class you will plan and practice a conversation in groups of 2 or 3 students based on one of the following situations, or a similar situation of your choice. Your professor/a may also ask you any of these questions. Please be prepared to answer them: Preguntas : Cuántos hermanos tienes? Cómo se llaman? Cuántos años tienen? Cuántos primos tienes? Vives con tu familia? Study the refranes and the expresiones útiles in the fotonovela. If you include a refrán or some expresiones útiles in your situation below, you will gain extra credit! Greet each other and then start on the situations below, asking and answering questions, ending with a despedida. Review the situations and decide if you will talk in the formal or informal of you and act accordingly. Situaciones : Select one of the following situations to be ready to ask and answer questions in a conversational manner: I Greet a classmate, introduce yourself and ask each other about your families. Include immediate family members, roommates, pets, friends, etc. Then, find out more information about two of them: name, age, where they are from, what they are like, where they live and where they work or go to school, etc. II You are taking a friend to a reunion of your extended family. So that there will not be any surprises for your friend, you have a conversation with him or her to talk about your relatives. During the conversation, your friend should find out the following: a. Which family members are coming, including their names and their relationship to you b. What each family member is like c. How old each person is d. Where each person is from e. Where each person lives III Create your own conversation using the vocabulary, grammar and useful expressions learned in this lesson.
