3 Hyothesis or arallel souls Hiótesis ara almas aralelas de Teo Aaricio Barerán or lute, marima and inds O El resente traao surge sore la rouesta de comoner una ora ara dos instrumentos solistas que, a esar de estar cada uno de ellos en las antíodas del otro en cuanto a tradición histórica, reertorio, timre, y registro, comarten otras articularidades que los hacen totalmente comatiles: tremenda exresividad, agilidad técnica, amlias osiilidades de articulación, etc, etc de ahí la exresión almas aralelas A riori, estalecer este grado de arentesco entre la marima y la lauta odía arecer una diícil tarea ero todas las osiles dudas del oyente quedan disiadas desde la rimera intervención en conunto de amos instrumentos Estructuralmente no resonde a la orma concierto, y el ael rotagonista de los dos instrumentos solistas está erectamente insertado dentro de un discurso más amlio realizado or la anda sinónica Nunca me han gustado las estructuras ormales cerradas, y máxime en una ora como ésta en que la liertad de dos instrumentos tan vaorosos como la lauta y la marima deían quedar de maniiesto Eso no es óice ara que haya instaurada una resentación lógica y cíclica del material temático Su esquema estructural resonde al siguiente diseño: IntroABCDCB El tema B, que unciona a modo de reexosición en la última sección de la ora está insirado en un aire de danza armenio, que, a mi criterio, dota de gran uerza rítmica y exresiva a la ora ermitiendo exhiir a los dos solistas toda la gama de osiilidades que estos instrumentos tienen La sección C, es la destinada a exlotar toda la aceta exresiva e intimista de amos instrumentos concluyendo con un unto de climax de extremada rudeza Tras una cadencia de la marima se enlaza con una sección mucho más desenadada y rítmica que denomino D Tras esta sección y con una equeña reexosición del tema exresivo se aorda la sección inal que de nuevo recuera el aire armenio aarecido en el tema B A nivel armónico, Hiótesis ara almas aralelas es una ora de clara amientación tonal, si ien, la utilización de ciertas escalas le imrime un carácter modal tanto a nivel melódico como en la construcción de los acordes utilizados La ora ue estrenada or la anda municial de Valencia y dirigida or su autor el día de Noviemre de 0 siendo la ortuguesa Ana María Rieiro la lauta solista y la roesora de la anda municial ina Sáez la encargada de interretar la arte de marima, todo ello dirigido or mí mismo La versión recogida en el disco Hand in Hand ue graada en Branca (ortugal) con la articiación de la lautista Marta Navarro y el ercusionista ulián Aaricio a la marima Estos mismos solistas actuaron unto con la anda municial de A Coruña en Noviemre de 0 en el Teatro de la Oera de esta ciudad EL AUTOR
