Space travel is very exciting, but it is also full of risks and challenges. Staying coolheaded and not panicking in the face of danger can save lives. Remind them to stress words in a meaningful way and to use punctuation in a way that shows they understand what they are reading. Comprehension Based on your observations of the children s reading and discussion, revisit parts of the text to clarify or extend comprehension.
